Literary Map of NYC Featured in Literary Manhattan Article

I’m excited to announce that Literary Map of NYC is featured in a Literary Manhattan article, “How virtual reality could lead to a local bookstore renaissance“. The article talks about digital technology, location-based technology in particular, and its innovative use for the literary industry. Explaining the current trends and future possibilities in the field, it introduces Literary Map of NYC as one of a few notable literary map projects. It says that our interactive map “is a book lover’s dream” and “has the power to literally transform words on the page into experiences in the street”. Check it out.

As described in the article, Literary Manhattan kindly donated us the data points they collected for their app, Library Atlas. The entries from “Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist ” and “Inferno (a poet’s novel)” are from their data. Many thanks to Literary Manhattan!
